Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Homebase collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This page is maintained by the Homebase team and reflects current practice in the Service.

Information you give us

• Artist accounts: your email address (via email/password or Google sign-in), display name, and any profile details you add.
• Artist site content: the artist name, bio, logo, photos, socials, songs, lyrics, and any other material you publish.
• Fan emails: email addresses that fans submit on your artist page in order to unlock content or join your list.
• Support messages and comments: anything typed into support notes, comments, or campaign drafts.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data needed to serve the site (IP address, browser, device type, referring page).
• Product events such as page loads, share button clicks, reactions, and campaign queue actions, used to compute the analytics you see on your dashboard (fan count, referrals, streaks).

How we use information

• To run the Service — publish artist sites, collect fan emails on your behalf, record support activity, and show your dashboard.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms and Content Policy.
• To communicate with you about your account, product updates, and important service notices.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell fan email addresses collected on your artist page.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the platform, including our cloud hosting, database, authentication, and (where enabled) payment and email providers. These providers process the data on our instructions.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the safety of a person, or to enforce our Terms.

Retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. When an account is deleted, we remove or anonymise associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Your choices

• Access and correction: you can view and edit most of your account and site content from your dashboard.
• Deletion: to delete your account and associated content, email hello@homebase.app.
• Fan unsubscribes: fans can unsubscribe from an artist's list at any time. Artists must honour those requests.
• Cookies: we use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to run the Service.

Children

Homebase is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will remove it.

International users

Homebase may be operated from, and data may be stored in, countries other than yours. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app.
